I created graphic design systems for movie promotions, focusing on tone, typography, and color to match each audience and platform. The work included banner campaigns for The Good Dinosaur, Burnt, and Carol, plus a web design concept for The Boss.

SOCIAL MEDIA BANNERS

The Good Dinosour

For The Good Dinosaur, I designed social media banners that reflected the film’s sense of scale, softness, and emotional journey. Set in an alternate world where dinosaurs never went extinct, the story followed Arlo and his unlikely human companion across vast landscapes. The visual system leaned into warmth, depth, and cinematic color to appeal to families and younger audiences. The film reached a global audience with a worldwide box office of over $332 million and received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Animated Motion Picture.

SOCIAL MEDIA BANNERS

Burnt

For Burnt, the banner designs focused on intensity, control, and pressure, mirroring the story of a volatile chef chasing redemption and a third Michelin star in London. The visuals were built around sharp contrast, restrained palettes, and confident typography to reflect the film’s adult, character‑driven tone. While more intimate in scale, the film reached viewers worldwide with a global box office of approximately $36.6 million, positioning it as a focused campaign aimed at a mature, drama‑oriented audience.

SOCIAL MEDIA BANNERS

Carol

The Carol banners were designed to feel quiet, elegant, and emotionally charged, echoing the film’s 1950s New York setting and restrained love story. I leaned into negative space, refined typography, and soft color to match the film’s intimate pace and art‑house sensibility. Carol resonated strongly with audiences and critics alike, earning over $42 million worldwide and going on to receive six Academy Award nominations, as well as winning the Queer Palm at the Cannes Film Festival.

WEBSITE DESIGN

The Boss

For The Boss, I explored a web design concept that matched the film’s bold, high‑gloss comedy and themes of power, collapse, and reinvention. The design leaned into scale, hierarchy, and playful contrast to reflect the larger‑than‑life personality at the center of the story. Starring Melissa McCarthy, the film reached a wide mainstream audience, grossing over $78 million worldwide, and later earned multiple awards nominations, including recognition for its promotional materials.
